A GROWING ALUMNI NETWORK

 

 

 

Every year the ISSS ALUMNI network is growing.

 

The ISSS ALUMNI NETWORK has over 130 motivated young professionals who have a strong background and interest in DISCOVERING, STUDYING AND EXPERIENCING the intriguing issues of Rule of Law, Human Rights, Democracy and Transitional Justice.

 

 

Members of the ISSS ALUMNI NETWORK are former International Summer School Sarajevo participants where they were taught on Balkan studies in 2006, Rule of Law in Theory and Practice in 2008 and Transitional Justice in South East Europe in 2009. They all came to International Summer Schools Sarajevo as students pursuing their MA and PhD studies at prominent Universities from Europe and world like Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, University of Graz, Linkoping University, Sweden, Universite Robert Schuman,Strasbourg, University of Sofia "St. Kliment Ohridski", Sofia, Bulgaria, Universite Robert Schuman, Strasbourg, Radboud University Nijmegen, MALS Georgetown University, Oxford University/ Nottingham University, University of Sarajevo/Bologna, University of Florence, Italy, University of Southampton, Southampton, Hampshire, UK, Queen's University, Belfast, Northern Ireland, St. John’s University, New York, Rome Campus, King's College London, UK, La Sorbonne, Paris, France and many others.

 

 

ISSS ALUMNI NETWORK MEMBERS are future decision makers, young leaders and professionals in academia, NGOs and government trying to make a change worldwide. The amount of their experience in extracurricular activities such as various competitions, moot court, within think-tanks and their professional experience present a challenge to every lecturer. ISSS ALUMNI NETWORK members are nationals of Albania, Austria Belgium, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Romania, Italy, UK, Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, France, Hungary, The Netherlands, Malta, Greece, Slovenia, Georgia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Turkey, Croatia, Kosovo and US.

 

Today many of them hold prominent posts and work as lawyers and political scientists in different national and international institutions like ministries of foreign affairs in their respective countries or they are delegates to the European Parliament. Several of them have dedicated their lives to unpbringing new generations of students by teaching at different universities throughout the World.
